It is NOT a Rowlingverse Wiki, and as such may contain information which contradicts the final book, or is based on facts established in Ertlore, but never so much as mentioned in the books. Namespaces

Articles Exist in Four Main Namespaces:

Main Namespace

No Prefix

These articles are written from an In Character voice, in a serious tone befitting the Gwyllions, the magical historians responsible for the project. These are the only articles that show up on a default search of the wiki. To search other namespaces, one must manually check the boxes for those namespaces on the search page.

The OOC Namespace

Prefix "OOC:"

These articles are written in an Out of Character voice, and are often rather funny in tone. Information on the culture of Erters.org, the history of the site, and the Out of Character rules can be found in this namespace. Important OOC information, such as rules, FAQ, and application procedure, not being as ever changing as culture and history, are not in the Wiki. They can be found on the main site.

The Ertverse Wiki Namespace

Prefix "ErtverseWiki:"

This namespace contains articles about the Ertverse Wiki itself, including policies, editing practices, writing guides and etiquette. The article you are currently reading is in the Ertverse Wiki namespace.

The Help Namespace

Prefix "Help:"

This namespace contains the technical assistance pages, regarding how to register, edit, and format in the Ertverse Wiki.
